Surprises, Take Your Places!

"Aww, Sankalp, why are you so sad?" Varangi Ma'am asks. “We didn’t do well,” I vehemently declare.  “Come on, at least it was better than last time.” She gave me an encouraging smile. I still pout. She sighs. “Look, as performers, we have to learn from the bad acts and stage better ones. Isn’t this what you did when you were sent home for revision last time?” I stay silent.
