The Whole Point of a Princess

I don't need fancy jewellery,
I don't need a boy,
I don't need royalty,
I don't always play coy.
I've read about princesses,
They've got it all,
I want a bright future,
Not a fancy-pants mall.
Girls don't always adhere,
To the rules given to them,
I'd rather wrestle a Sasquatch,
Than stitch a dress's hem.
See,
Shiny ain't respect,
The whole point of a princess,
Is to look after her country,
And take care of all its needs,
Not to wear gold on her neck,
Or frolic around in a frilly dress!
